Dear Wendy Geiger,

As Christians, we pray for the Jabez moment in our life, and your business has grown exponentially. As your friend, I wanted to help with some advice with your manual accounting system and make a few suggestions. I hope that my suggestions will improve your general journal and general ledger accounting entries.

Wendy, after looking over your manual accounting system, I would like to make a few suggestions to help you accommodate the expanded business activities. First, we need to look at your manual accounting entry to see how we can improve on that aspect of your business. With the increased accounts that you have now; we should start with creating an accounts receivable ledger. The cash and credit sales should be kept separate so you can have better accounting transaction for your account.

As the record keeping has become extremely time consuming, if you neglect to address this issue it could have a devastating effect on a potentially successful business. In this case, if you are against hiring help, I would suggest investing in a basic Computer Technology Accounting System. This technology is convenient in performing an accounting task with great speed, accuracy and designed to be user friendly. Some software can operate efficiently and automatically as an integrated system relative to posting your journal entries. In any case, expansion call for careful planning and the business should not be top heavy with debt.

Finally, as your friend I hope this information was helpful, and your business...
