From the Kularnava Tantra:

Verse 1: This text starts off with Shri Devi asking the blessed lord if there is away to be free. The blessed lord says that if the goddess Shri Devi listens to what he says they can be free. The blessed Lord says that every person is reborn with a good and a bad, however, they can overcome this so they can reach freedom. He says there are two paths the “its mine” path and its not- “mine” path. If you are following the path of “its mine” you are then bound to your body and cannot be freed. He tells the Devi that she must take stand in the truth at all times in order to be liberated.

Verse 2: The blessed Devi now tells the “supreme” ruler, or the blessed lord to tell her the way to go because she is listening. The blessed lord says he loves her and that her mind is only listening to him and that is why he will tell her the ways, however, she must keep it protected and can only share it with the people that deserve to know and who have quieted their mind and is only listening to the blessed one. He says that the Vedas are superior to all other teaching, then the vaishnava teaching is better than the Vedas, the shaivite is better than the vaishnava, and the right-handed tantric is the best of them all. From this then the left-handed tantric is better than the right, and siddhanta is better than that, however Kaula is better than them all. He says this is the most important secret, it is even more important than a secret. The Kula is the word of Shiva. If one stays true to the Kula, then they will shine through the Kula. If a person is unfit for the Kula they will not stand long. If you know the Kula you know everything. Kaula is founded on the world; it is through the universe it was taught. If you follow the behavior described by the blessed lord then you are already on your way to reaching Kaula. He says there are things like walking on the edge of a sword that is easier then living in the Kula.
