Pick one of the two options below for this assignment. You can use any tool you would like to create your website; however, I recommend Weebly.com. I found it to be the easiest website designing tool using a template. I have included a video showing you how to use Weebly. Below are past websites created for this class. You may view them as a guide; however, do not copy them. Past classes have had slightly different requirements. Option 1:

You will be creating a teacher candidate webpage. You will provide information that will be helpful in a job search. Then, after you receive a job, you will be able to use this page as a classroom teacher resource site for parents and students. You can include blogs, wikis and other great resources directly on this website. The requirements are as follows: Index Page: (These should be the tabs at the top or side of the website) 1) Introduction: Name, University, program, expected certification date, a welcome statement, and your picture. a. Embedded into the Introduction page, you need to have links to the following hidden pages. 1. Why do you want to be a teacher?

Your idea of what characteristics make a good teacher 2) Your Philosophy of Education (short version) 3) Brief statement about your qualifications to be a teacher (This page should reflect your resume or have your resume attached.) 4) "My Dream Job" 5) A link to your favorite educational websites.

Option 2:
