Is traditional Chinese Culture Being Affected by China Increasingly Opening to Western Influence?

With the development of economy and society, China has been much more exoteric towards the world than half century age, at the moment, as contacting with Western countries, our country has developed a lot and changed every day, meanwhile, cultures of China also updates and changes quickly. Culture is the soul of a nationality, and it even influences a nation’s custom and reproduction. The modern Chinese culture is a commixture, influenced by Communism, economic changes and some old traditions. Even if the modern influences have changed the ancient face of China, this nation still keeps many ponderable traces of ancient Chinese traditions and culture.

It is exactly true that the modern culture in China is absolutely different with the old one. For instance, many kinds of western fast foods, like hamburger and French fries have been more and more popular for some busy citizens who have less time to have a formal lunch. Maybe some researches have already proved that fast food is harmful for human’ health, but it could not stop the new diet. Otherwise, around in the last fifty years, some ancient arts disappeared forever. Just because only a few people know them and no one wants to inherit them (they are unsuitable for the world which prevail fashionable dance and song). The most the weirdest scene is many young Chinese guys now prefer to have a party in foreign festivals rather than in traditional Chinese festivals. It is really the soreness of a country, but these evidences actually show western culture’s great influence of China.
