Falling in love is a risk, just like reading a new book. Everyone will experience this at one time or another. You have to commit to it. As you slowly open the pages, you barely know anything about it. But who knows what could happen, right? Sometimes people act as one thing and once you get deep into it you then realize that they are nothing like they said they were. Like reading a new book, you start it off slow. You’re unsure of it. You don’t know anything about this book, but you’re going to try it out. Someone could have told you that this book just wouldn’t be worth your time or you could have been told to read the book and encouraged to try the book out. No one will ever know the truth about something until they can try it out themselves.

This book won’t be a great one but if you put it down, you start feeling a little guilty. Maybe it’ll be an awful read but you still won’t be able to put it down or you could just sit it down and never pick it up again. Maybe you’re sick and tired of reading books. You’ve read so many books before. Some were on a Kindle or Nook, while others were heavy on your back or in your purse. Weighing you down. Maybe you’ve just quit reading for a while because the last few books you’ve read just weren’t worth your time. You’re thinking, is there such thing as a good book anymore? Remember that one time you fell in love with that one certain person? You think it will just never happen again for you. Maybe that was just a once in a life time feeling and you will never find one that will make you feel like that again.

So something exciting could even happen! This could eventually become your favorite book. That’s a possibility, right? That’s the beauty of risk. The reward could actually be worth it. You put your time and energy in it and what you get back is a new understanding and pure wonder. How could anyone know that you like this kind of book?
