Scholarship Essay

As I began my undergraduate year as a student at the spectacular Florida A&M University, I have plans to graduate at the top of my class with FAMU being one of the top academic schools in Florida; so there is much competition for academic success. At this point in time, I have maintained an outstanding GPA and have made the Honor Roll every semester since freshmen year. I would consider myself a top student. My preparation to exceed my expectations is to stay on path as an excellent student, stay active in the USNDA/Pre-Dental Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and gain the attention of professors, advisors, and job organizations so that I may earn my Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Dentistry degree and ultimately, become employed in the field of Dentistry.

Naturally, as a young man focused on his education my learning must precede anything else I do. Although the learning is not simple, I feel that it is morally right for me to perform at the best of my abilities inside and outside the classroom. As such, learning to exercise good clinical judgment requires extensive study and practice, even long-life professional in the dental field. Being a top student who eminently excels in the classroom, many expectations have had a tremendous impact on the future ahead. As I gain experience in the pre-dentistry profession, I plan to graduate magna cum laude as an undergraduate. Then work persistently to learn the right mechanics to pursue that goal as a graduate student. Today, my pursuit to become successful in dentistry will take the hard work and countless hours of extensive studying. With family and friends that are very supportive I trust that I will be highly successful throughout this profession. Various achievements in academics and athletics have led me to commit myself to wide-range of studies and perform skills to master towards my success.
