2. STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

Human resource functions are always a major concern of the organizations to enhance a competitive advantage in the global business environment. The effective leadership is a key to the success of the organization’s business strategy and objectives as the people working there individually and collectively contribute to the achievement. Thus, the human resource plays a vital role in the continuous development and quality enhancement in an effective leadership. However, there are always some issues facing by the organizations’ human resource:

• How the trust and confidence being built and maintained in between the subordinates and the management?

• Are there appropriate approaches being used to enhance the leadership quality?

• How to encounter the challenges of the workforce diversity to achieve the effective leadership?

The questions pose the consideration to the establishment and development of closer working leaderships. By examining how the leadership-building activities such as workforce communication and managing diversity. The strategic management framework can be developed to strengthen the organizations competitive, which also enable each firm to establish alternate understandings of need and expectations.
