What is the most important entrepreneurial lesson to learn from the business acumen of Steve Jobs?

Chapter ten gives me a complete picture of Steve Job’s vision that I am able to understand and conceive his personality, idea and his lesson. Jobs spent his dedication and his own life focusing on building great products and designs, his belief of making impossible things happen and making people believe in him. This will be a great lesson learn for all entrepreneurs from the business acumens of Steve Jobs. Furthermore, in this chapter, Jobs delivers all readers the insight and depth of his vision and masters the ability to toggle between big picture strategy and his tactical details.

Steve Jobs focused on his products as creating great designs and details. Jef Raskin, the manager of Apple’s publications department, came up with the name Macintosh. Jef who has opposite and different perspectives from Jobs, wanted to create a machine with lower price and a simple appliance. Jobs immediately opposed with Jef’s vision of keeping the cost down. Instead, he expected to concentrate on building a product, which was called “insanely great”. Jobs mentioned “Don’t worry about the price, just specify the computer’s abilities” with his proposed computer with a high-resolution color display a printer and the ability to produce graphics in color and recognize speech and music. Jobs knew he could make anything happen with his strong belief and passion. And he knew exactly what he should do. He determined to switch to the more powerful chip Motorola 68000 without telling to Jef Raskin. Steve challenged Burrell to redesign the Mac prototype; and Burrell kept working nonstop for three weeks and finally succeeded.
