EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

After a long time of studying and considering related matters, the partners finally decided to put up the business and named it “Pocket Pie.” The partners are sharing the same interest in food industry particularly, pie-making business and this made them think of new ideas that will contribute on the growth of trade.

Pocket Pie is a small scale business which offers deep fried mini-fruit pies and a variety of beverages that are suitable to the Filipino taste. The prices of the products are comparable to what the competitors offer. Pocket Pie will concentrate on product innovation while maintaining sanitation in the preparation and handling of foods to customers. The company engages in food business that caters the on- the-go lifestyle of the people; providing them with a variety of fruit-flavoured pocket sized pie. Using basic ingredients, pocket pies will be served with a unique concept to easily reach the majority of the target market.

Pocket Pie will be established in San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The particular place is very accessible to people from nearby call centers, malls, schools and other business establishments. The customers of the business are the population of San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Center, Pasig City which include employees and students.

Weeks before the formal business launching, flyers will be distributed around the business vicinity and tarpaulins will be posted inside and outside San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Center, Pasig City as part of the business advertising scheme.

Pocket Pie has (3) strong competitors namely: Pan de Manila, 7-Eleven and Burger Machine that can be found along San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
