Question : agree or disagree/ With the help of the internet, students can learn more effectively.

Some people insist that development of the internet disturb students’ concentration on study because it has lots of entertaining stuffs. However, in my opinion, the internet is the valuable tool as it allows to find information easily and also, it makes online courses possible to students.

To begin with, students can get information on the internet easily and quickly. There is no need to go to libraries and look through a bunch of books. Now, they just need to go on the internet and search what they want to know more about. For example, when I was taking a ‘Understanding Chinese old books’ course, I had to look up some old Chinese books to have a presentation to the class. At that time I had no idea which book I should give a presentation. Professor recommend us to go library and see the list of books they have. However I was too busy to visit library, so I just open the internet site of library and searched the Chinese books. Finally, I could find a great book which I could see the book on online with just a few clicks and I successfully finished my presentation.

On top of that, online courses are delivered via the internet. These courses provide educational opportunities to students those who lives rural side so they cannot get good(양질의) education. For instance, one of my cousins who lives very small village in countryside, was quite good at studying in her school. However, she had still needed better education to be competitive with students who live city and can get expensive tutoring, so I recommended her free online courses which was offered by national organization. After she taking them, her grade improved remarkably, and she could get in the best university in Korea, even though she was a country girl.
