Research mourning customs of other cultures. What role do products and services play in making the experience meaningful for mourners. Is technology changing customs outside of the United States ?

Mourning customs are different depends on the cultures. Mourning is to display the conventional signs of grief after someone’s death. Shakespeare said that “we mourn in black”. The example of mourning customs in Africa is they wearing black cloth with a rough traditional fabric. In this era, mourning customs slowly changing due to new technologies involve.

The role that products and services play in making the experience meaningful for mourners such as from the video. With the help of technologies mourners can upload video tributes about the dead one. Mourners can upload that video in social media such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The video may remain forever until the social media still in operation. It may help the family to watch back the video and remember the dead of the love one.

The innovation of technology also providing mourners affix adhesive-backed "QR code" chips to the tombstones.”QR code” stand for quick respon code chips. It can bring a person “back to life”. It let the visitor to pull up photos and videos using a scan of a smartphone. This “QR code” contain the a biography web page, which can include video and pictures as well as text of the death one. From this technology, it help the families or visitor when they visit grave, they can recognise the owner of that tombstones. So, it make others family easily find their family grave using the smartphone.
