Virtual Child Pornography

Parties involved are the audience of the virtual porn, the creators, and the Supreme Court.

The moral issues are that the Supreme Court allowed this type of pornography to be produced again and this is still a fantasy that pedophiles can access.

Virtual pornography creates the same emotions that live pornography can. This is an issue because the Supreme Court legalized it and now pedophiles can easily access it at the touch of a button. I do not think it's ethical or moral. Allowing virtual child pornography is the equivalent to saying pedophiles may indulge in their fantasies and impulses; this can lead them to seeking out real children and damaging lives. This was not the just thing to do on this case. You have the freedom to create what you want because of the Constitution but this thing that has been created is a gateway to worse impulses and behavior. The Supreme Court should have taken this into account when ruling a judgment.

Another issue I see with this is what if a child saw it? This child would have many questions and might deem this behavior as normal. Many children are beginning to have sex at a younger age because of what the media is producing. I've heard of children as young as 8 years old becoming pregnant from consensual sex. I realize many pregnancies are due to abuse but there are too many from children having sex because they want to. I believe the media and up-bringing of the children is the cause for it, but what if they saw this porn? The issue would grow and we would have an even larger issue.

I do not believe the Supreme Court should have legalized this type of pornography; there are too many things that could go wrong. We are supposed to put people in jail for having child pornography and whether it is animated or not it is still being used in the same regard. I do not claim to know everything about the law but this one should not have been ruled in favor.
