About Us:

The 2nd Call next generation locating

service specializes in locating

unregistered underground lines,

underground hazards & primary

underground lines (when contracted

to do so). We locate all types of

locatable buried facilities including oil

/ gas pipelines, water / sewage lines,

electrical, telecommunication, cable

television lines etc. We provide these

services for (but not limited to)

farming, residential, commercial,

institutional & industrial sites.

OH&S Requires All Types Of

Underground Lines To Be

Located Before You Dig:

Whether the ground disturbance is to

take place on public or private land,

Occupational Health & Safety Code

requires that ALL buried facilities

potentially in conflict with the ground

disturbance be identified & their

horizontal alignments marked out

before the ground disturbance begins.

The requirement to have the locations

of ALL buried facilities marked applies

to the ENTIRE digging community,

NOT just contractors. Making

arrangements to have locates done

should be part of the job planning

process.
