Introduction

As part of the vital core that makes a Project Manager a great leader is his/her ability to influence other to accomplish ones goal by providing purpose, motivation and above all direction. Fostering the right atmosphere, establishing lines of communication and accountability, and developing the personal and professional growth of these individuals is what it takes to create a cohesive and effective teams. It is the role of the project manager to set and share the right tone in working together, professionally, ethically and with a constructive attitude towards the organization's goal.

Diversity in personnel, knowledge, ideas, perception and feelings can certainly build up to disagreement and or perspective confrontation. An effective Project Manager must develop within his team the ability to positively to resolve this conflict through open exchange of ideas, constructive and timely feedback, and above all a positive trustworthiness towards the leader and the issue.

For our weekly case study we are face with a common scenario that will be a merit the attention of the project managers towards resolving some conflicts within his team. A project team leader, Henri, outburst towards his team member Colin, and other group members (Fatima and Raouf) of the project for the failure to meet the project schedule time. Team members approach towards this team leader and the situation presented a conflict which affected the effectiveness of the team.
