Virtue theory, utilitarianism, and deontological ethics all collaborate in correspondence to company growth. “Virtue ethics is the act of deemphasizing rules, consequences and particular acts and places the focus on the kind of person who is acting. The issue is not primarily whether an intention is right, though that is important; nor is it primarily whether one is following the correct rule; nor is it primarily whether the consequences of actions are good, though these factors are not irrelevant” (Luke Mastin, 2008). These factors are irrelevant because when they are put into perspective, then you cross over into the world of utilitarianism. Utilitarianism is a “doctrine that the useful is the good and that the determining consideration of right conduct should be the usefulness of its consequences; specifically: a theory that the aim of action should be the largest possible balance of pleasure over pain or the greatest happiness of the greatest number;” in simple terms, a doctrine that determines that the actions that were made are beneficial and or useful for company growth (Dictionary.com, 2014). Last but not least, deontological ethics; deontological ethics are a little more complex. Reason being, it contains morality which differs from person to person. Deontological ethics are also classified as responsibilities or duties. It is strongly recommended that all employees should possess deontological ethics; if not, the company will essentially fail due to lack of contributions.

When working in an industrial field, you become accustomed the work process that is implemented. These work procedures are implemented due to successful out comes. Needless to say, not everyone within a company possess deontological ethics.
