1. What changes did you make to the U.S. budget?

the debt portion is in increasing mode in US, I worked to minimize this portion. I minimized government expenses in its budget, and military expending and expansions, I concentrated in this budget cuts:

- Reduce U.S. Navy Fleet to 230 Ships (-110B).

- Replace Military Personnel with Civilians. (30B)

- Cut International Assistance Programs by 25% (150B)

- Eliminate War Funding After 2021 (820B)

- Repeal Legislation, but Keep Medicare/Medicaid Cuts ($1010B) (Even thought I agree, is a way too big expense for the US right now)

- Impose a 5.4% Surtax on Income Above $1 Million (550B)

- Eliminate the State and Local Tax Deduction (970B)

2. Do you think that any of the changes that you made would be considered to be popular? If so, what were those specific changes?

Yes, and no, sometimes people need to understand that we need to take drastic decisions to change the path of the economy, a politician should not care about what is popular, the only thing that matters is what is correct and logical.

The above strategies definitely will be providing positive results. if we minimize the spending on unnecessary activities, it will be resulted in minimizing the cost. and the other way is changing tax slab rates.

3. Do you think that any of the changes that you made would be considered to be unpopular? If so, what were those changes?

I would say yes, because it cuts spending, increases tax to millionaires and increases tax to gas. I think our people needs to understand that we are in a recession, no country leaves a recession by doing the exact same thing, we need to sacrifices our concept of what the economy should be and be more realistic.
