Clarity is one of the major intellectual standards that are important when it comes to increasing
an individual’s level of intelligence. Clarity is very important because if something, such as a
statement, is unclear then it makes it hard for the people involved in the situation to understand
what is going on. ([C01] What is critical thinking? (n.d.) Web. July 27, 2016) If something is
unclear then we cannot determine whether it’s accurate or relevant to the subject that is at hand.
In most cases, depending on how unclear the subject is then we are unable to tell anything about
it, because we can’t understand what is being said. In order to be able to address the questions
accurately, us an individual, would need to have a much better understanding of what the person
that’s asking the question is considering the “problem” to be.
Clarity plays a very important role in the work place because if everyone is not on the same

well. (Intellectual Standards. (n.d.). Web, July 27, 2016) If you aren’t paying attention in a class
and you don’t have a good understanding about what you’re learning, then you’ll have a hard
time with it all. By creating clarity in the school place, it will help the individual to understand
what it is that they need to grasp....
