Statistical variability is a component that reduces the ability of a researcher to detect statistical significance from a sample or population observations. In nearly all statistical studies, one of the key targets of researchers is normally to detect and reduce any variations in the observations. Statistical variability which is detectable through a set of statistics like the range, interquartile range and standard deviation computed from Minitab. Variability analysis in Minitab’s Design Experiment is an analysis toolkit that the statisticians use to detect or identify the factor settings which could result into less variable results in any experimental design.
