Abstract

When you I was writing this IP I found that there is a lots of information on Health/public policies. As you read this paper you will see a lot of information that will make you think about how much we need public health and without it we would be in bad shape

Public Health

PART ONE: Public health is very important in the world because without it there wouldn’t be any type of control disease, preventive care, Smoking, and obesity.

What is Public Health, it helps promote and protect the health of the people and community in where they may live, learn, work and play. It helps try to prevent us from getting injured, sick and it also promotes better wellness to a healthier life. Also help with vaccinated, education on smoking and alcohol, and school programs for children of low income families,

The government need to be in charge because if there is no control over our health and how we can prevent things, we would be like other countries with diseases, food shortage and so on. Since doctors deal mainly with everyday sickness Public Health helps to prevent sickness before it becomes an epidemic and injuries before they become a disability. Also conduct scientific research to educating about health, people in the field of public health work to assure the conditions in which people can be healthy, educating people about the risks of alcohol and tobacco, sets safety standards to protect workers and develops school nutrition programs to ensure children can eat healthy food. 

They work to track disease outbreaks, prevent injuries and shed light on why some of us are more likely to suffer from poor health than others. The many facets of public health include speaking out for laws that promote smoke-free indoor air and seatbelts, spreading the word about ways to stay healthy and giving science-based solutions to problems (www.aphp.org, 2012).
