- THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE -

Medication is treating with medicine and various kinds of medication such as yoga, acupuncture, meditation, reiki and hydrotherapy (Gulman, F.M., 2004). These are the kinds of energy medicine which is called the future of medicine according to Norman Shealy, M.D., the founding president of the American Holistic Medical Association. Energy medicine is called the future of medicine because of it’s success in healing the problems which conventional medicine remains sufficient. People mostly believe that the healthiness concept only involves physical health, but psychological health is also important. The depression occurs as a result of disabilities can be cured by the incorporation of the body (physical) and the soul (psychological) which is the main aim of energy medicine. By learning how to integrate body and soul, the pain and illnesses can be solved. Because of it’s benefits energy medicine techniques should be used to have a better life, both psychologically and physically.

“Energy medicine techniques derive from traditional Chinese medicine and are based upon the concept that health and healing are dependent upon a balance of vital energy a still mind, and controlled emotions.” says Roberta B. With the differences between energy medicine and conventional medicine, which are based on the basic way of looking to their focusing areas, energy medicine excels in some areas such as prevent illnesses and promote happiness (Trieschmann, R.B., 1999). David Feinstein and Donna Eden, 6 pillars of energy medicine, tell that the two medicine techniques’ way of looking differs at the point of the base which is one focuses on the biochemistery of cells and organs and the other focuses on the fields that control their growth and repair.
