Directions: Locate two resources on the Internet that explain meditation techniques. Copy and paste the Web address into the top of the matrix. After reviewing the Web site, provide a brief summary for each source. Below your summary, list two interesting facts you learned from each site. Try the techniques you located in your Internet search. Provide a brief description of what happened in your experience.

Summary of resource: This is an article that breaks down the individual techniques of the basic meditation. With each step broken down the author explains what to do and how to do it. The author also tells of things that may be common misconceptions, such as having to find a place outside the home. This website offers 4 different categories to read further into meditation. The first category is about the understanding of meditation itself. The second category is an actual list of 25 different techniques or ways to meditate. The third category focuses on the scientific aspect and different medical views. The last category is different experiences that people have had doing the meditation.

Two interesting

Facts: 1. The first thing that I found interesting was that first thing in the morning is the best time for beginners to meditate. I would have thought that evening would be best to help relax from a stressful day.

2. The second thing that I found interesting was that the atmosphere of the room that is chosen for meditation should not be changed as the person.
