Neuropsychology
Definition of Neuropsychology:
Neuropsychology is the branch of psychology that is concerned with the physiological bases of psychological processes. It is the study of the relationship among brain function, behavior and psychological processes. And also examines biological basis of behavior.
Neuro word means Nerve, Usually anything Neuro starts in the Brains Nervous system. So we can say that neuropsychology describe the arrangement and function of the brain with nerves and also relation, reaction, response of it.
In other word we can say Neuropsychology is the studies of structure and function of the brain related to nerve, psychological processes and behaviors. For example: if a ant bit a person in hand through nerve by electrochemical that information transfer to brain and brain try to match it with same incident happen before or not, and take a decision about the understanding.
Use of Neuropsychology:
Neuropsychology has been use to both studies in humans and animals. It is scientific in its approach. It gives an information processing view of the mind with cognitive psychology and cognitive science. It has also been applied to efforts to record electrical activity from individual or group of cells in higher primates, ex: studies of human patients.
Neuropsychologists also have a tendency to work in clinical approach and forensic settings or industry. In industry where neuropsychological knowledge is applied to product design, for example: management of pharmaceutical clinical-trials research for drugs that might have a potential impact on functioning.
