The First 48: (Schoolyard Revenge) When a 29 year-old man and his paralyzed mother are shot to death in their apartment, Louisville, KY detective Kyl Willett is shocked to learn what initiated the double homicide-a school yard fight between two teenage classmates. It started out with a 911 call from a Westside complex. A mother of four and her eldest son Steve Jr. where gunned down, detectives find sixteen bullet casings fire from a single shot 9MM gun.

The brutal murders cause news media when gunshots ring out at the complex. A young woman shows up in blue Durango (SUV) wearing scrubs, with son, causing a big disturbance at the complex. The suspects Steve Sr and Steve Jr are lured outside in the parking lot where both are attacked from behind and gun fire rings out.

The two members of the victim family was ask to come down to homicide to ask young boy and his father what happen concerning the incident – I t all started at school, then the teenager said he seen his classmate at the complex, and they started to fight again and his big brother Steve Jr came outside to break it up.

Then a black impala car pulls in the parking lot and two men gets out and enters the breeze way. The suspects they seen a man with dreads in all black, but didn’t get a good look at the other suspect. They couldn’t identify them as they fled. Steve Jr say everything happen so fast, he tried talking to the mother but she was just to progressive, she wanted the classmates to fight one on one.
