All of these theories differ in some way. They were all made to change management in the way that the creator of the theory felt was best. The creators of the theories made their biggest intention the basis of their theory. They had good intentions when coming up with the theories. I think although some of their ideas were well thought out, at the same time some were not. Some focus on the best way to complete a task and do not consider the problems employees may have on a daily basis. One theory was basically where employees were taught a certain way to do things and were not allowed to change anything. One theory was encouraging the employees to experiment with different ways of doing things until they found the best way to complete the task at hand. It encouraged employees to be flexible and use different alternatives to try to solve whatever problem or task that arises.

I think the behavioral approach is the most important of all. I know when I was working the constant thought running through my mind was wishing my employer would appreciate me or the work I did. If managers would show some appreciation or encouragement to their employees maybe it would cause a change in employees attitudes. When people feel appreciated it raises moral and would encourage people to work harder then pay rate wouldn’t be such an issue with most. When you have a good working relationship with your employees, your business will continue to strive. When an employee knows his input and efforts are respected and appreciated they will continue to work had and in turn make your business more successful.

An employee should receive more than just benefits. They also need encouragement and a considerate employer that will listen to their ideas. Managers also need to take input from their employees about how to help the business stay successful and improve. After all employees interact more with...
