A Search for “One Amazing Thing” in my life….

Being involved with selling books in a premium stall as in like penquin, it is indeed a great privilege that one can delight himself through swimming in that pool of literature and exploring ways to develop various patterns of thinking and such a privilege was a gift for me, in this book fair time. Whenever time stretched me an opportunity to take a long breathe as in a rest, I always wanted to feel my breath through a book which gets me something to cherish while I engage back to my work. Such was a day when my fingers floated over the neatly and ergonomically stacked books, it stuck between two piles, Ooops! My mind did not reject me to stop for a look, I found my little finger trapped between Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Chitra Divakarunni. Suddenly did I notice the beautiful cover of the book on which rest of my four fingers relaxed, none other than the elegant greenish metallic cover of “One Amazing Thing” by Chitra Divakarunni. Even though, I had no time to browse through, I felt as though It was my fingers’ gift for my mind the particular day. I started reading through the pages which smelled reminding me a soothing nostalgia. I read a few pages first, finding it simple and realistic. The work focuses on few very unique people who meet each other in the Consulate for Visa matters between USA and India and how they share each other in a beautiful manner of narration; regarding just ONE amazing thing in their life. Soon after browsing through her pages, I took a deep breath keeping aside the book on a shelf to my purchase cart. Since my senses were triggered reading through her concept she adopted as the theme of the book, my brain got provoked for thoughts.

There began my search to the way for getting to know what really can be an amazing thing in my life since my inception into this planet earth. My thoughts started moving, running, and flying… crossing horizons. A lot of places where my mind...
