Stream of Consciousness

“You cannot expect people to look eye to eye with you, if you are looking down on them.” Why do people think they are so much better than everybody else? The constant need to always be right. It must get exhausting. Even if something is done right, its wrong because it wasn’t done their way. All people deserve to be treated with respect, no matter who they are. Some people treat certain people one way and others differently. Why is it okay to treat one person like shit and another with respect? I never understood that. Working as a server and working with people has made me realize that people are crazy. Crazy. Insane. Mad. Difficult. Ridiculous. Sometimes there aren’t even words for them. Words. Words. Communication. Without it we’d all be screwed. Relationships fail. People move out. Families are broken. Just talk. For some reason that can be extremely difficult for people. Bottle it up and throw it in the ocean, only to have it wash up on shore to face it again. Some just don’t get it. You can never “run away” from your problems. Face it head on like a man, deal with it, and grow up. There are always people who have it worse off than you. If a person in a wheel chair wants to be treated as an equal to people who can walk, why do they get special treatment? Cutting lines. If you want to be treated like an equal, cool. If not, let me know, but you can’t have both. Fucking double standards, clichés, poems, quotes… Trying to be creative and original when you’re really just clicking copy and paste. People…absolutely crazy.
