The Great Myth and Mystery or Peruvian Civilization

The Son of the Sun: INCA

The INCA civilization was one of the six great civilizations including of China, India, and Egypt. Located in the Highlands (the Andes), Coastal Area, and the Dessert the INCA empire lasted for 100 years from 1430 to 1532 which was 500 years ago. Their capital was Cusco meaning “navel of the universe”. To them it had four empires. They had the Earth with foodstuff, the sky which has the sun, moon, and stars. There symbol was gold because it was to even sparkle in the moon light. Beliefs like this came from the civilization of the Moche. This Civilization was 5000 years old. They also had an empire in Italy called Machu Picchu, also called the lost or Heavenly city located 2430 miles above the Sea Level. They had different ways of living there lives in certain ways.

They worshiped and respected a lot of animals but the following three were the most worshiped. Pelino, the most worshiped, represented the Earth and ground. The Condor represented the sky and was a sacred Hawk or Eagle like bird that they believed to reach the Sun. The Snake represented the underground. They had a lot of pictures and sculptures of these animals in different ways.

They also often had mummies man- made. There are a couple in very well kept conditions because of the dirt they kept the mummies in. The dirt in the dessert they kept then in contained a lot of salt and little moisture to keep them in such well shape. The mummies were usually sacrifices to satisfy the gods. The sacrifices wee usually people defeated by the warriors and arrested prisoners. They usually sacrificed the around eighteen time a years. They cut the bodies with a tumi and dedicated the blood to the gods.
