Dear Mr. Lancaster:

I am very pleased that you have decided to go with ABC Accounting for your audit needs. I feel that we will work together as a team and make sure all areas of your company are running as smooth as possible and any areas that are in need of help we will be able to help guide them in the right direction. This letter is to set a clear picture of what the next few months will be like and confirm that both parties agree with the terms and conditions.

We will be going over all prior financial statements from December 2011 and back. We will also need the prior tax returns for the past years in order to make sure all was done correctly. This will help us get a better picture of how the company was handled and managed. After we go through all the information we will then have a meeting at which we will ask all of the owners and management to attend. This will allow us to go over all the funding and be able to talk about our report that we have made about those findings. This will give us all the opportunity to ask questions and get answers making all of us feel comfortable with the auditing process.

We will be billing you on a monthly basis which will be for all the hours that were worked by the auditing staff handling your company. Of course since we have already stated the job should come in around 100k if at anytime we feel that the cost might need to be re evaluated we will get with you right away and we can talk about the situation. All invoices are due within a 15 day time period after we have summated them to you....
