Work efficiency is one of the gold keys for every company. Both employees and employers have their own demands, which are always conflicted with each other. How to reduce conflicts and maintain a balance of the disagreement becomes a priority work of managers who have strong faith in that a harmonious rapport will facilitate their work. This report will discuss how to deal with people in workplace from the perspective of management. And we are going to illustrate the solution from the following two aspects: hardware and software of management.
Business logos of many companies always highlight the real and tangible contribution made by employees. Higher-ups would like to have the hard facts and figures tell. As a result, they always employ an incentive system to stimulate their employees, setting up a unified standard—a fair, objective and direct approach— across the entire company to offer equal opportunity to everyone. Within this framework, incentives can take any form, namely, bonus payment, prize money, pay rise, promotion, paid vacation, etc.
Reward system can date back to some sport competitions, and now its regular presence is welcomed and enjoyed by a lot of business companies. Take for example the Wilkins Group, Inc., a full-service, nationwide telecommunications and system integration firm founded in 1986. WGI’s employees nominate Employees of the Year at WGI’s Year-End meeting. Winners receive accolades such as substantial prize money. These employees are key players in WGI’s operation and administration. WGI is proud to award their Employees of the Year with more than just a financial reward, but they are placed on a pedestal and admired for the entire year. This method excites employee’s working enthusiasm and achievability.
