Life Cycle

Throughout the life cycle, people get to encounter with others in their ordinary lives. People encounter others in the most ordinary situations and also in the rarest situations. However, they do not give importance to this type of situations because to their eyes the people they encounter are completely strangers. Surprisingly, by instances of destiny sometimes these people appear in our lives more than once and without noticing, they become a very important part of our lives. We see them frequently, and we get to spend time with them and share important moments or our lives with them. With the passage of time we start having affection, love, trust, respect and many other feelings for these people and when we experience problems they remain with us unconditionally. They stop being strangers to us, and then they become our friends. One person appeared in my life several years ago, and with his actions he demonstrated that I could count on him always; as a result he became my friend.

When I was six years old, I started going to elementary school and the first day I meet someone that in the future became very special for me. I was eating my lunch and some third graders came and started bothering me. They grabbed my lunch box and they started throwing it to each other trying to get it away from me, and then after several throws, the box opened and my food flew away. They started calling me names and I was afraid that they were going to bully me. One of them grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and when he was about to punch me, someone came to my rescue. He grabbed the third grader’s hand hard, and he told him,“ if you have a problem with him, you also have a problem with me.” They all very scared and they ran away. Then, the boy introduced himself; he was a third grader also and his name was Paco. He knew that I did not have any food left and very kindly he shared the tacos he had brought for lunch with me. Since that day, Paco became my friend.
