A classical hero has the following four characteristics in him:

1) Super natural powers

2) Willing to save others

3) Hubris

4) Half God and Half human

Hercules was an immortal champion and warrior. He was known for making the world a safer place for mankind by hilling and fighting monsters. He was the illegitimate son of Zeus due to his infidelity to Hera, his wife. After Zues had Hercules he had breast feed him with Hera milk while she was sleeping, which led to him becoming immortal. Hercules started to believe he was stronger than the entire Gods. He felt as if he can do anything and no one would be able to hurt him. This was proved wrong when he was killed by being burned to death by the blood of Nessus.

Mwindo was a super natural hero in central Africa. He had all four characteristic a super hero has in him. He was able to walk and talk from the time he was born. His father didn’t want any of his wife to have a baby boy and out of all his wifes, Mwindo was the only boy they had. His father tried to kill him many times, but always failed as Mwindo was very quick with his magic. He spent his whole life trying to kill his father; he burnt villages and killed people. Till his father asked for forgiveness and shared his kingdom with his son. Once he was accepted his restored the village and even fought for his people.
