Last lesson of my moral class, I watched a movie which name <The Hunger Games>.
The story is very attracted me. Long time ago, there are 12 districts waged war on the
Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one
boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." Only
one can survive in this game, it’s either kill or be killed. A bravely girl from district 12 who
call Katniss Everdeen volunteered to replace her sister to participate the game due to her
sister knows nothing of survival, and she is more skilled in hunting. And through the public
“Reaping”, a boy called Peeta Mellark becomes another tribute of the game. After watched
this movie, I had a lot of feelings that I can’t describe clearly. The game is so cruel and I was
curious why the residents of the Capitol like this kind of game and think that it is just a
entertainment. The other side, the family of the tributes is watching on live television, a
fight to the death. Here is the subjective value, in my opinion; I can’t accept that watching
the fight to the death is an entertainment because I think that it’s against humanity. The
residents of the Capitol don’t know how the family of the tributes feel, they watch for fun,
but the family of the tributes witnessed their children or relatives died or been killed, this
wicked game grieves them deeply.
In the movie, Katniss Everdeen cut down the trunk of a tree where a cellular is
hanging there to let the trackerjackers (highly toxic bees) attack the tributes from other
districts. There is extrinsic value in this scene, Katniss Everdeen have to or must to take
action against them to be survive in the game because she was trapped in the tree. Neither
she gets down from the tree nor stay on the tree, she can’t escape from the death. In order
to get rid of them, she chose to let the trackerjackers to attack them. Are they...
