When we think of a hero, what automatically comes to mind? To some it may be someone legendary. Others might think of a hero as someone of great strength or ability. Perchance an illustrious soldier or warrior. Perhaps someone admired for their achievements and great qualities. To me, it once meant someone that showed great courage. The one person that showed that was my cousin Chase. He graduated from high school, the got his girlfriend pregnant by accident and was still willing to stay with her. He knew he had to find a way to support his new family. So he decided to join the military. He ended up having to go to Afghanistan which means he had to leave behind his new son. He missed out on his sons 2nd birthday a month ago. Ted not having his dad there really upset him. Even though Molly was struggling just to stay strong for her son made it even harder on her. Molly had to find something to do with her time, so she picked up modeling again. Chase has been gone almost 8 months now. Still staying strong fighting for our country. Chase and I barely talk much anymore because he always has to do night missions. He’s very good at what he does just have to put in a lot of time. He’s almost half way done with his trim, which means I’ll get to see him very soon. It’s been about 8 years since I’ve seen him, so it would be really nice to see him and his family again. I’m very blessed to have Skype because that’s the only way he can have any contact.
