Introduction

When people around the world wants to live in a place which provides an opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for everyone, there will always be the conversation concerning illegal immigration. Why, because many would rather enter into a country without proper legalization and thus creating new issues on an old problem. In the United States, illegal immigration has become a part of our country’s fabric which began centuries ago only to become a hot topic in the US in recent years with its primary focuses being illegal immigrants. Illegal immigration is when people enter a country without government permission. Illegal immigration in the United States (US) has long been a topic of debate for policymakers and the public. The rationale about illegal immigrants is that they do not pay taxes; they add to the costs of taxpayers and use up funds in resources meant for assisting citizens and legal citizens. Furthermore, they are perceived as a threat to the US economy. The true impacts of illegal immigrants on the US economy are discussed by debating over the economic benefits as well as economic costs of these immigrants. In this paper, it will be discussed the beliefs about illegal immigration, the advantages of illegal immigration, the disadvantages of illegal immigration and the public laws concerning illegal immigration.

First, illegal immigrants have never been much appreciated by the citizens or natives of this country because many believe them to be criminals, and their existence within the US vicinity is a continuous violation of the law.
