Psychological Flaws in Human Beings

The quote that “no one is 100 % psychologically normal; everyone one of us has a psychological flaw” is true. There is no doubt that the human brain is a marvelous creation and it allows them to think and process information in small fraction of time. Whenever the human eye opens itself, it sees the outer realm and processes it to the brain in a matter of seconds. The human mind is conscious. It also has a subconscious side, where millions of ideas are fed. There is no doubt that although the human brain can process information, control behavior and generate ideas, yet it is has psychological flaws. The human mind is not perfect and as emotions govern them, there is a possibility that its cognition can be biased and subjective in nature. This subjectivity is found in all human beings and does not depend on gender, education, intelligence or other factors. As human beings, we experience happiness and grievance at all times. The state of sheer happiness is only idealistic state and does not occur. As human beings, we grieve and experience negative emotions. For instance, a traumatic incident in life can threaten the psychological and mental condition of an individual. He or she may develop chronic depression. Human mind can also be biased. If the individual thinks positively of someone, then there is no doubt he or she will favor them. This bias is clearly seen in workplaces, colleges and other organizations. Furthermore, to illustrate this point, consider the example of research. A researcher irrespective of the fact claims that he or she has shown objectivity yet would support his or her perspective by finding the resources favoring his side. A biased perspective does not allow the human being to think rationally and logically and thus, there is no doubt that we all have psychological flaws.
