Abstract

Assessing is a very crucial part of the learning process. When we teach our students a skill we need to be able to evaluate what they have actually learned. Assessments can be developed to assess a variety of different skills in any area. In the following paper I plan to show a variety of reading assessments and identify the purpose of the testing method, frequency of use and if they are on-demand or cumulative assessments.

Introduction
