INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background

Tiga Bola Bookstore is a merchandising company engaged in selling of elementary school handbooks, inventories, notebooks, childern storybooks, etc. Tiga Bola Bookstore which is located in jl. Raya Menganti no 36 focused in selling books to elementary scoolar who live nearby their store. They are still using the manual accounting information systems to record the inventories data and their sales and purchasing report.

The weakness of the manual system accounting information is that in the preparation of information requires a lot of time so transaction processing is slow. Manual accounting can cause a lot mistakes caused by human error factor, such as nominal recording errors, errors in calculation of total sales,...
