13. What is sickle-cell anemia and what is its cause? It is when the rbc’s are deformed and take a sickle shape. It is a genetic disease that is passed down from parents.

14. What are the causes of Anemia. Anemia has three different causes. Blood loss, lack of red blood cell production, and high rates of red blood cell destruction.

15. What is the difference between sickle cell anemia and sickle trait? Sickle cell anemia is when you have the disease and sickle trait is when you are a carrier.

17. What is a Lymphocyte? A type of white blood cell found in the back

18. What is a chemical that stimulates cells to produce antibodies? An antigen stimulates cells to produce antibodies. They can be naturally acquired or actively acquired.
