The ethics review committee gathered to review a client situation. One of the ECG partners hasn’t been fulfilling obligations for a business strategy commitment, which has to be completed in a timely manner because the appearance to the client will happen in a couple of weeks. The partner didn’t support the group to carry out a very important research and study for a new company prospect for a long-time client. Old data was used from a few years ago when the partner was employed somewhere else. This old data overstated the recent market opportunities and was offered to a client with a proposal to consider a market. This could sway their choice to put in important funds into a new venture that is not pleasing tactically or monetarily like it was in the past.

A proactive leader is one that focuses on achieving performance objectives instead of finding and solving problems. The proactive leader comprehends the power of using the team to help solve problems. This type of leader coaches the team players and requests that the team helps in the decision making. They inspire a vision that is so compelling that the team wants to follow and work towards the goal. They also foresee and influence change. The proactive leader will also teach the team to be self-reliant. They model team work and are concerned for the greater good. They make and discuss values first. They know that if they give up control they yield the best results. Their effort is on accomplishing performance results. They help the group learn from mistakes.
