Is perception Reality? Identify an instance in your life where your perception of the reality situation was far from actual Realty. What do you think was going on? What was really going on? Why was there such a difference? What happened? What did you learn? How has your thinking changed?

Perception is once judgment made by various external influence and experience. Perception is not always the reality but in some case it takes shape of the reality.

One situation where my perception was totally wrong in the context of reality was frankly speaking India. India was not my first choice but faith broth me here.

I always had a negative perception about this place because of various reasons, first of all was by my family as they would always talk about un safe and unethical situations taking place in India, second was because of my friends as India was our neighboring country my friends would not consider a great choice as it was very similar to Nepal and we would not learn anything new in this country, third and the deal breaker was my own experience with Indian people, they were always listed as a sneaky people, and there words could never be trusted. In my experience I bought a new phone from an Indian retail store in Nepal, which turned out to be a stolen phone.

Because of all this experience and influence India was the last option for me but in the end I had no other option but to come here. I was bummed from the fist day and I thought I would never be able to stay here for 4 years.

This was my perception without seeing the reality but as the days passed by and I started to see the beauty and the real reality of the place. I learned a lot from this place, it taught me to be strong and it taught me the value of money and time.

I even made lots of friends here and they turned out to be very helpful. They were not less then any other friends I had. They showed me that because of some group the whole mass could not be judged.
