Overview:

The plan is to train all employees in the PGA model of customer service and only keep those employees that are willing and able to give the level of customer service we expect. Also, an aggressive promotional plan will be put in place through our website and an email database that we will develop through the golf shop. Special attention will be paid to improving the course condition by working closely with the superintendent on what he needs to effectively do his job. By implementing these changes we should see a steady increase in tournament and league play over the coming years.

Saguaro Sands offers tournament participants a quality golf experience provided by PGA Professionals with years of experience hosting both corporate and charity outings.

The local population is about 500,000 of middle-income to upper-income families with two large manufacturing plants in the area. The two other privately owned public courses in the area are well designed, well maintained and offer good customer care. These three factors give them a lot to offer anyone looking to hold a golf tournament. Our current customer base are primarily males aged 30-60 in the middle-income bracket. With green fees about 20 percent lower than the other two privately owned public courses in the area we should be able to offer a more attractive price to those looking to hold tournaments and outings in our area. We plan on going after the two manufacturing plants in the area to create a competitive league between the two plants. We will also advertise to local businesses and charity headquarters to promote corporate and charity outings.
