Have you ever bullied or been bullied? If you have bullied or been bullied then you should know how bullying feels like. Bullying is very negative and creates major problems for our society. Nothing good comes out of bullying. It could change or ruin a person’s life . In fact.kKids can be mentally scarred if they are teased often. Even worse, they could be killed or fatally injured if the bullying gets extreme. There are many causes for bullying which must be taken care of before bullying can be stopped. Bullying is defined as harassment that is directed toward other human beings. It includes physical, verbal, cyberbullying, and even vicious rumors that could be harmful to people.

There are three main types of bullying. They are physical, social, and verbal. Physical abuse is someone pushing, shoving, hitting, tripping another person. Social abuse is embarrassing someone in front of people, talking about them behind their backs, and/or spreading rumors. Verbal abuse is name calling, teasing, taunting , threating, and even making sexual remarks that some might not like. As children get older, especially in teenagers, bullying can sometimes affect the children. A lot of bullies start to bully other children because they suffer from abuse from their home rather it be school, peak in the middle school/junior high school years, and even into high school years. Although there have been few studies of the bullying among American schoolchildren, available data suggest that bullying is quite common in U.S. schools. To popular belief, bullying occurs more frequently on school grounds than on the way to and from school. Two sources of federally collected data on youth bullying state that nationwide, 20 percent of students in grades 9-12 experienced bullying according to (2011 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). 28 percent of students in grades 6-12 experienced bullying according to (2008-2009 School Crime...
