We are a group of undergraduate students at Western Carolina University, serving Technowledge, an online educational resource company. Our objective in this relationship has been to obtain market research for Technowledge to determine viability and productive options for the company’s success. Thus far, research data has been collected by conducting surveys with various educational institutions. These results have been compiled in an effort to present accurate representation of the possibilities and limitations that Technowledge has in the educational marketplace.

Technowledge is a company that provides online educational resources for students considering or currently pursuing an occupation in the technology industry. The program that Technowledge offers has been designed to work either as a supplement to standard educational curriculum, or as a stand-alone resource. The objective and need that Technowledge is working hard to fill with their curriculum is to help students gain a basic understanding of the various facets of the technology industry. Upon completion of the Technowledge program, students should have a firm understanding of the different avenues available to them within the field of technology and the skills necessary to pursue them.

The resources offered by Technowledge are a series of online technology courses that introduce students to the field of technology, beginning at the introductory level. It includes tutorials and other helpful resources that will enable the user to easily navigate through the courses and maximize their learning potential. The tutorials will also allow students the opportunity to review the material as many times as needed in order to have a firm grasp of each learning objective.
