NUCLEUS- It is the central part of cell, control and directs all activities of the cell.
CYTOSKELETON- Long threadlike structure which are made of molecules of Protein and DNA.
RIBOSOME- Small granular structure some are attached to the membrane, some are float freely in the cytoplasm.
CENTRIOLE- Duplicate during Interphase & Prophase, control the arrangement of microtubules during cell division.
CELL WALL- Responsible for making the cell rigid, gives plant a definite shape.
NUCLEAR MEMBRANE- Consists of Double layer of fats, protein & associated with short chains of sugar, has many holes/pores, it covers the nucleus.
GOLGI APPARATUS- Flattened sacs, modifies proteins that are synthesize & packaged in the ER, make sugar & stores together with proteins & lipids in secretory vesicle.
LYSOSOMES- Membrane bounded bag produced by RER & golgi apparatus, digest nutrients & broken down organelles.
CELL MEMBRANE- Double layered membrane enclosing the cell, permeable & limits exchange of H2O & some substances.
CHLOROPLAST- Contain green pigment (chlorophyll) w/c/ is used to convert light energy to ATP.
CYTOPLASM- Semi-liquid substance w/c the organelles are suspended (clear, jelly like fluid)
NUCLEAR SAP- Fluid part of nucleus, it is also called the nucleoplasm or karyoplasm.
MITOCHONDRIA- Commonly know as the powerhouse of the cell, the place where chemical energy (glucose) is converted to ATP.
ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM- Extensive membrane system, synthesize & package proteins w/c are sent to be to synthesize in golgi apparatus.
SER- Branching canals & act as calcium ions reservoir in skeletal system.
RER- Stacks of sheetlike flattened sacs w/ ribosomes that attach the cytoplasmic surface of stacks.
Classification of Cytoskeleton
