If I were to start my own business and hire new workers, I would make sure to properly inform them of their duties per position. Aside from that, I would make sure to properly train them and give the needed materials to properly execute their job. With a new company with new employees, it is crucial to start off on a good foot.

With that being said, I strongly believe that with properly training and support from management, employees an accomplish anything that is given to them and more. Having strong and knowledgeable employees is just as important as having a great company. Being that I am starting a new company with new employees, I will implement some ground rules and code of ethics when it comes to making directive decisions on their own.

One simple rule would be to have the proper knowledge in what theyre doing and what they plan on doing. When making a decision on your own, you should be fully aware of your actions and have a solid game plan. By this, I mean you shouldn’t make an important decision without knowing the proper information on what is current or what may be.

Another code of ethic I would implement would be to be able to discuss your decisions in a professional matter. You should be able to back yourself up if ever questions on why you did what you did. If I ever decide to pull you into a board meeting to discuss your recent changes and ideas, I would be expecting a proper presentation. The reason for this is to prevent any premature decisions. If a person is required to properly inform us as to why they made a decision they did to better the company, the person may think twice about doing something.
