I can think back 20 years when technology was only for business professionals. As time has changed and technology has become easier to access with devices such as lap tops, tables and android phones technology is at anyone’s finger tips. As technology becomes a part of everyone’s lives so has security and privacy. Companies now have the capability to access sites such as Facebook, the government had debates on how they play a part in accessing sites such as Twitter and Instatagram. The question is how I fit in ethics in light of the kind of corruption and ethical malfeasance made possible by the technological age? I will also explain my ideas for self-improvement based in my readings about culture and the way that business is conducted internationally.

Week 3

There are many was I can help impact the ethical of those who surrounds me, I am a firm believer in lead by example. when in any role I conduct myself in a manner where team members know what is accepted and what is not for example working in a medical facility many of us have access to our medical records, I have never taken the liberty to check my lab like so many other have done. And the few time I have seen team member check their own I always warn them of the consequences behind their actions, a second way I can help impact the ethics of those who surround me is by being loyal and having respect for my employer discovering a balance and producing quality work which in turn will show my desire to maintain the companies vision and goal. Third I can impact ethics by being inspiring, other to do what is right in difficult or easy situations that may cause a ripple effect and affect other or the company.
