Socialisation is like a two age sword One can acquire good habits knowledge and even positive motivation from sociolisation or impact negatively through acquiring bad habits depression or being demotivated/ Among the most important factors influencing the kind of people one sociolses with are gnder age and socioeconomic status. Epidemological studies have shown that gender also influences the frequency and the distribution of disease among the different sexes/ This kind of distribution has been due to the interactions between the different sxes and between themselves i.e between male and female, between male and male and between female and female.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases are of the most concern especially in interaction between the different sexes though some can be transmitted through homosexual intercourse. Among them are syphilis(caused by Treponenema pallidum pallidum) gonorrhea(caused by Neisseria gonorrhea genital warts and genital herpes among others. The incidence of these diseases had gone down but with the emergence of IV virus that disables the immune system through the invasion of CD4+ T lymphocytes, these diseases and many others have become of more concern than before. People at risk of getting these diseases are those with multiple sexual partners and having unprotected sex. It can be transmitted through both heterosexual or homosexual sex especially in gays through anal sex.

The World health Organisation defines health as a state of complete physical mental and social well being. Interaction between male and a female could lead to realatinships that could be stressful and cosume a lot of ones energy. This mostly occurs when things are not going very well or in he case of breakups or infidelity is realized. This could lead to depression among other psychiatric disoders.
