In Proverbs 31:10 God’s word states for man to find “a wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” (NIV, 1992) The Lord is talking about a person that makes good decisions, works hard and can be trusted. As we look at the rest of the verses God explains how this wife looks after the entire household with love and makes preparations for the future of the household. This noble woman is looked up to and admired, she helps the needy and the poor in the city in which she lives. Her husband, children and community love and respect the type of woman that she portrays. The wife described in Proverbs 31 has a lot of the characteristics that a good company or business should strive to have within its community.

Chick-fil-A gives back to the community in three key areas: 1. Youth and Education Programs 2.Community Involvement and Local Giving 3. Leadership and Family Enrichment Programs (Chick-fil-A.com, company highlights). It is a good example of a company that is dedicated to giving to the community. Some examples of their community involvement: they are helping local organizations that are treating the sick or special needs children by providing thousands of sandwiches each year to hospitals and special...
