* Weather

The state of the atmosphere at a given time and place, with respect to variables such as temperature, moisture, wind velocity, and barometric pressure.

* Hurricane

A severe tropical cyclone having winds greater than 64 knots (74 miles per hour; 119 kilometers per hour), originating in the equatorial regions of the Atlantic Ocean or Caribbean Sea or eastern regions of the Pacific Ocean, traveling north, northwest, or northeast from its point of origin, and usually involving heavy rains.

* Typhoon

A tropical cyclone or hurricane of the western Pacific area and the China seas.

* Tsunami

A very large ocean wave that is caused by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption and often causes extreme destruction when it strikes land.

* Dry Season

One of the two seasons in tropical climates.

* Thunder

To produce thunder; to sound, rattle, or roar, as a discharge of atmospheric electricity; often used impersonally; as, it thundered continuously.

* Tornado

A localized and violently destructive windstorm occurring over land characterized by a funnel-shaped cloud extending toward the ground.

* High Tide

The tide when the water is highest.

* Winter

The season of the year in which the sun shines most obliquely upon any region; the coldest season of the year.

* Summer

The warm season between spring and autumn, in the Northern Hemisphere from the June solstice to the September equinox, and in the Southern Hemisphere from the December solstice to the March equinox.

* ThunderStorm

A storm resulting from strong rising air currents; heavy rain or hail along with thunder and lightning.

* Spring

A small stream of water flowing naturally from the Earth.

* Low Tide

The lowest (farthest) ebb of the tide.

* Climate

The weather in some location averaged over some long period of time; "the dank climate of southern Wales"; "plants from a cold clime travel best in winter".
