* Foreword

English as the world is now a very common language, it not only in economic, political, military, and people's livelihood to play an important role, but also cultural exchanges around the world play an important role.

But English is not the beginning played such an important role. English is widely used but also because the United Kingdom and the United States has a strong and gradually accepted by the world. In the 18-19 century, the industrial revolution has made the influence of the British Empire began around the corners of the world. English is not with the British Empire on the soldiers and businessmen became popular around the world to the global language of the goal. English is not only used in the British colony, and even non-English speaking countries with diplomatic negotiations are conducted in English. However, no matter how strong adaptability of English, English forces, regardless of how much area was covered by the current international status of English, mainly from English-speaking United States after World War II's great-power status. But English is widely used not only because the U.S. is strong, there is as English as a United States operation of its industrial area, so that English is used in every corner of the world, such as patterns on the clothes, the music lyrics, store name, TV and movie lines, and so on. This makes the world more or less every country will be exposed to English. It also laid a solid English foundation. Most important is also the United States as a superpower in the world from all the people to accept English.

Strong influence of English as the double-edged sword. They can be positive, it can be negative, also can occur, that a seemingly negative effects often associated with the positive side also, and vice versa.
